POSITION TITLE:        Future Coaching Positions          

DEPARTMENT:            Athletics

REPORTS TO:             Director of Athletics

POSITION PURPOSE:  In order to ensure consistent staffing of all our athletics teams, Charlotte Country Day School accepts applications for coaching positions on an ongoing basis.  Applicants who submit their materials for future openings will be contacted if an opening becomes available in their area of interest/expertise. Positions are part-time and focused on one of three seasons: fall (August-October), winter (October-February), or spring (February-May).  The daily work schedule will vary slightly according to specific team practice and competition schedules, but will generally be focused on a 3-6pm time slot, Monday-Friday.  Weekend work is occasionally required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful candidates must be available for all practices and competitions during the coaching season.  Experience coaching at some level is preferred, but not required.  Additionally, candidates must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check and must possess or obtain prior to the start of their season current First Aid and CPR certification.  Some coaching positions may require additional experience or other qualifications.
